Terms of Service

Last updated 19 September 2026

LoanStack is a loan management platform built and operated by Polimath Labs Ltd, a company incorporated in Rwanda. These terms govern your use of LoanStack. By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to them on behalf of yourself and the organization you represent, and you confirm you have the authority to do that. If you don't agree, don't use LoanStack.

1. Accounts

You provide accurate and complete information when you register, and you keep it current. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Tell us at once if you think someone used your account without permission.

If you're an organization administrator, you're also responsible for how your members use LoanStack. You control who joins your organization and what they can do.

2. What you may use LoanStack for

LoanStack exists so lending organizations can run their operations: onboarding clients, disbursing loans, recording payments, applying penalties, and producing reports. You may use it for your organization's own lending business.

You may not:

  • use LoanStack for any unlawful purpose, including unlicensed lending where a license is required;
  • try to access another organization's data, or probe or interfere with the platform's security;
  • resell, rent, or provide LoanStack to third parties as your own service;
  • scrape, reverse-engineer, or copy parts of the platform to build a competing product.

3. Your lending decisions are yours

We provide the tool. The decisions made with it are yours. You're responsible for complying with the lending, consumer protection, and financial regulations that apply to your organization, including how you charge penalties, how you collect from borrowers, and how you handle guarantor and collateral records. We don't review your loans and we're not responsible for your lending conduct.

4. Your data

You own the data you enter into LoanStack: client records, loans, payments, documents, everything. You give us permission to store it, back it up, and process it as needed to run the service for you. We don't sell it, we don't share it between your organization and any other customer, and we don't use it to advertise anything. Our Privacy Policy covers the details.

5. Fees

Some parts of LoanStack may require a paid subscription. If your organization signs up for one, we state the fees before you pay. Fees are billed in advance and aren't refundable except where the law requires it.

6. Availability and changes

We work on LoanStack continuously, so features change and improve over time. We aim for a reliable service, but we don't promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. If we change or discontinue something significant, we'll tell you beforehand.

7. Disclaimers

LoanStack is provided "as is". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Polimath Labs isn't liable for lost profits, lost data, or any indirect or consequential losses arising from Loan Stack. Our total liability for any claim is capped at the greater of USD 50 or the fees your organization paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

If a claim against us comes from your organization's use of the platform or a breach of these terms, you cover our reasonable costs of responding to it.

9. Suspension and termination

You can stop using LoanStack and delete your organization's data at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaks these terms or puts the service or other customers at risk, and we'll explain why where we reasonably can.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Rwanda, and any dispute goes to the courts of Rwanda.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We post the current version on this page and update the date above. If a change is material, we'll notify you in the app or by email before it takes effect.
